This extension deletes any [target="_blank"] or [target="_new"] attributes on all links in all pages. There's a reason these attributes are deprecated in the HTML spec. If you want to open a link in a new tab, YOU have the control: just a) middle-click, b) CTRL-click, or c) Right-click and select 'Open link in new tab'. Let me know if you discover any sites bypassing this extension, and I'll see if I can give them a good slap as well.
