Cabana is a new e-mail client that runs inside the Java Virtual Environment and can be deployed through Java Web Start. Because it is a Java Application it will prevent virus-ridden spam from finding its way to users' desktops. Cabana previews the POP3 server before allowing the user to download e-mail. While previewing, Cabana can sort out spam using its spam filtering heuristics, which are customizable. Support for white/black lists is available as well as protection from designated objectionable content represented as "XxXxXx". Cabana can also bounce spam, making spammers think an e-mail address invalid. Version 1.3.6.06 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
