Get Time is a multi-function alarm clock. The software allows you to connect to the NIST clock time server in Boulder, Colorado, or any other time server. The connections are made through the Internet. After, the NIST clock time is retrieved, the Get Time program compares the time server time, to your PC time. Next, you have the option of synchronizing your PC time with the NIST time. The GetTime program gives you the choice of saving all of your PC time updates to the Event Log, display a pop-up message, play a common sound, or play your favorite MP3 music. Also, the program supports network notifications. The program will send an SNMP Trap alert message. Additionally, you can schedule clock alarms. The alarms will play your favorite MP3 music, or play a common sound. The alarms can be organized by priority. There are three types of alarm priorities; Critical, Warning, and Information. There are two styles of alarms. There is a default common style, which displays the alarm message, and plays a common sound. Or, there is a colorful alarm, which displays the alarm message, and includes an audio spectrum analyzer. The spectrum analyzer is visible, while your favorite MP3 music is playing. The program has a countdown timer, which allows you to set the amount of time, until an alarm is triggered. Also, the program has a Reminder Notes capability. This allows you to display small notes on your desktop as reminders. The Reminder Notes have the same priority settings as the Alarms.
