Xotics is a set of Java tools and libraries for XML programming and processing, based on the association of JavaBeans and XPath 2 requesting support. Xotics is a complete solution, intended to Java developers, addressing both client and server side programming. Xotics contains a Core API implementing base concepts, an XML dialect to create Swing GUI, an XML application-processing engine, an XML editor. The main concept is to represent an XML document in Java as a tree of JavaBeans requestable by XPath 2 language. Xotics core API stands between Java DOM implementation and J2EE JAXB API. Like JAXB, Xotics maps an XML element into JavaBean, with attributes into properties. But like DOM, Xotics keeps in Java all XML document data needed to perform XPath requests.
