The JPEG copy assistant is a small program that copies to a flash memory card. The card is then used in a digital camera. Instead of turning in cards or messing with complicated programs, the card is inserted into the card reader and the program will start. Officers just input the complaint number and their name. The date is input automatically or can be changed if it's different then the current one. Click the start button and the files are copied to a predefined location in a directory listing the complaint number, officer, and date. This is great for larger departments that always seem to have a shortage of memory cards. After the files are copied, the pics on the card can be deleted and it's ready to use again. Step by step instructions and a photo viewer make it easy for officers to get stuff where it belongs. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
