Photomatix is a post-production software that blends images of the same scene taken under multiple exposures. The result is an HDR (High Dynamic Range) image that you can display on monitors or printers while preserving the details of the original scene in highlights and shadows. Photomatix combines any number of bracketed shots automatically. The computed image is created as a new document, making it easy to compare the result with the original images or with the result obtained using another computation method. Additionally, you can use the Photomatix comparison feature that displays the histograms of two images on the same panel. Photomatix Pro offers six different methods to blend exposures, all of them based on a different algorithm.
