Electric River

Electric River is a river of news feed reader that runs on your Mac. It periodically reads feeds and shows you the newest stuff in a single page display you scroll through. Until now, to run a river you had to run it on your own server, but thanks to some new technology it's now possible to do it on a Mac. All you need is a net connection. Dashboard opens a window that shows you how many feeds have been read, how many new stories were found, and how long since the last feed was read. Open River5 folder opens the folder that contains the files that configure River5, the engine of the feed reader. You can look at the files that control how it works. You can manage the Lists folder yourself. Settings allows you to control whether podcasts are downloaded and where they are downloaded to. You can also decide to open the Javascript Tools when Electric River starts up.
