This simple game helps to teach young children to read by showing a word, and a series of pictures. One of the pictures will represent the word shown. If the child clicks the correct picture, a car moves forward. If the child clicks an incorrect picture, the car moves backwards. The object of the game is simply to move the car to the end of the screen. Parents can control which pictures/words should be shown, how many pictures should be shown at a time, also how many correct answers are required to move the car across the screen. It is possible to add new pictures/words, so pictures of objects that the child is likely to be familiar. It is quite easy to exclude any words/pictures you wish. It is also easy to add new pictures which you may wish to do from time to time to help your child concentrate on certain sounds, e.g. 'ing', 'th', 'ch', 'oo', 'ou', 'ie'.
