Percevia (pronounced per-see-vee-ah) is a program that allows collectors, hobbyists, dealers, manufacturers, web designers, and clubs to build to organize, catalog, and manage photo albums, cookbooks, buyer's guides, catalogs, field guides, fact books, hotel locators, stamp collections, antiques, art, dolls, glassware, jewelry, models, television guides on their PCs. Percevia uses visual icons and multimedia to allow interactive identification of specific objects in a database. Its unique protocol prevents negative results by removing all data and attributes that would not help narrow the search. Searches are done step by step rather 'all at once' as in most engines, so at each step Percevia evaluates the remaining attributes and values and discards any that are useless or irrelevant. Percevia guarantees a user will never see 'sorry no results meet your criteria'. The program suite consists of an Editor for creating databases and an Explorer for searching and viewing results.
