This is the Storm Drakkars map for Rune. Viking ships sailed halfway around the globe, from Newfoundland to the Caspian sea. Ships were the basis of all Viking activity. War, trade, and exploration were carried out by sea Many Vikings sailed abroad to plunder. Archeological finds show that they also traded peacefully and settled new lands from Russia in the east to greenland and Newfoundland in the west . Towns like Dublin were founded by the Vikings.
