Ford Racing features a dozen of Ford Motor Company's finest vehicles from its European and American ranges, several of which (including the Rapid Fit Mondeo) are reproduced in full race livery. More than 1 million pixels are used to define each detailed vehicle. The game's physics engine provides not only for authentic modeling of the vehicles' suspension and drive-train characteristics, but also for convincing collision dynamics. Ford Racing features ten hand-crafted racetracks, from the splendid English-country-estate style Branton Park circuit to the fiendishly difficult American-desert-style Navaho raceway. The game's Quick Race mode provides rapid access to several different vehicles and tracks, while its Career mode offers a long-term challenge (see screen shots). This game takes advantage of the advanced video, audio, and game-controller devices available for today's Intel Pentium III-based PCs while still permitting users of less powerful Pentium/Voodoo I generation systems to enjoy many of its features.
