Print Enabler Card: Copepa generates a page description language (in OpenPage, a CiSRA development language) from any Windows application; this is then rendered using hardware acceleration via the Print Enabler PCI card which incorporates another CiSRA development, the 'Star' ASIC. This high-speed rendering allows print jobs to be output by the CLC at the copier's engine speed, allowing efficient and fast printout. The Copepa system is a server PC running either Windows 95/98, NT, 2000 or XP and attached to one or more CLCs using a Copepa card and a 100-way cable for each copier. The server may be connected to a network to enable other Windows PCs to print to the CLC just as if it were an ordinary colour printer.
