SBWeather supports remote weather monitor stations, connected by telephone, cellular modem, or other means. This is the main reason for using UDP/IP for network connections, it scales fairly well and is supported by a diverse range of hardware, connecting a SBWeather server to the Internet allows anyone in the world to access weather data. SBWeather's main design feature is network connectivity via UDP/IP. It is designed with decent set of Activex control to give nice user friendly look and feel. Graphics are designed to be user friendly and intuitive a thermometer looks like a thermometer. Complex real-time charting functions are available to see weather trends as they occur.
