ScrapX is a shareware scrapbook utility that stores, displays, and dispenses content that can be copied and pasted or drag-and-dropped between Mac OS X or classic Mac OS applications. Version 1.1 has the functionality of the scrapbook utility in classic Mac OS plus several new features. For example, it allows multiple scrapbooks to be open and scrapbook items with more than one supported "type" to be viewed in each format. ScrapX 1.1 handles content in several formats, including BMP, GIF, HTML, JPEG, PDF, PICT, PNG, RTF, RTFD, TIFF, URL, text, movie, sound, and (classic) sound resource.Possible Uses:Collect items you want to view at your leisure: cartoons, news stories, whatever.Organize content that you use frequently: paragraphs for form letters, images, etc. Even store and dispense Adobe Illustrator images or FileMaker buttons with associated scripts.Gather and organize project materials (images, text, movies...). Use a scrapbook as a story board to test alternative orders of presenting materials, then copy and paste or drag-and-drop content to word processing, image editing, and other applications to publish it.Make albums of your digital photos or compile collections of foreign flags, company logos, or other graphics to organize them and make them convenient to view.While shopping on the Internet create a set of illustrated bookmarks by dragging images with links into a scrapbook.
