Unlike most programs available for personal use, All My Data doesn't tie you to anyone else's idea of how your data should be stored. You define your own data structures. In other words, suppose you need a program to store contact information (names, addresses, phone numbers, etc). However, you want to store some special information for each contact like pet's name, favorite color, or whatever is important to you, in addition to just name, address and phone number.
