A simple software program designed for the classroom instructor. The program allows you to randomly select students in the class when going over questions. It's designed to keep the students' attention and rate their answers in a fun and non-threatening fashion.
PickaStudent also allows you to save the results of their answers for possible use as a "participation" grade. The program will keep track of the number of questions answered and skipped for each student and save them into an xml file based on a given class name.
The Awards Area will show a random star icon for a "Got It" response and a random sad icon for a "Moving On" response as well as play an appropriate random sound clip. The display keeps track of previous responses and each series of 10 star or sad icons will be replaced by a single icon. So, the display will hold up to 300 responses. (If the display fills, the last icon box will always show the latest response and the program will continue track and save responses.)
A class can be imported from a comma delimited file with a list of student names.
