FlashCards is a program that allows you to create, edit, print, and study cards on your computer. It has study cards with stats, text cards for speed, and graphic cards for detail. You can insert BMPs or JPEG images into graphic cards. It can auto resizes images to fit in cards, has export/import, single- and doubled-sided printing. There are two card sizes including standard 3x5. It can print on standard 3x5 cards (most printers). The program has text to speech: FlashCards will read your cards to you, and HTML export where you can create cards using online dictionaries (standard dictionary, medical, and law). Export to Palm PDA and export to Flash (SWF). The program has a custom shape library (create your own shapes for use in graphic cards). It offers support for Microsoft Visual Keyboard for easy foreign language card creation and editing. Print on Avery Index cards (8388). Edit graphic shapes at the point level for greater control. Save a range of cards (allows splitting of large files into smaller files). Window position is saved between sessions. Shapes can have a different edge and fill color. The application has an Office XP-style interface, context menus in text editor, support for bulleting in text cards, and tabbed windows for quick switching between files. Unfilled shapes are transparent, the program has undo with history and preview, and layers in graphic cards.
