Schedule lock events for multiple days.
The tool works in a method akin to other similar programs, in that it offers users the opportunity to lock their system with a customized password. Several features distinguish it from basic lockdown utilities. For one thing, the application allows scheduled tasks to be performed, with options available for distinguishing between individual days.
Also, when triggered, the computer can be configured to display a custom picture, instead of a blank background. Most common image formats are supported, including PNGs, JPGs, BMPs, and GIFs.
Issue commands with customizable hotkeys
Lockdown tasks can be performed with hotkeys, or issued from the tray area, where the program normally resides. An interesting feature is the ability to transform lock tasks to other states after a user-defined timer has lapsed. For example, one can configure the program to shut down the computer automatically after 30 minutes have passed in a locked state; other available options are "Restart" and "Hibernate", complete with customizable timers.
Several security measures ensure one cannot tamper with the settings or scheduled tasks, such as a 'master password' required both when trying to adjust settings, but also when attempting to close the program.
