Science, meet Art. Who's Art? He's this app's "Visual Metaphor Facilitator" and his role is to help illustrate certain scientific themes focused in the field of genetics. If you want to find out a bit more about Art, check out the screenshots related to Chapter 2 of this app (note that you can put those screenshots into full-screen mode by left clicking them. and can exit that mode by clicking on the small "x" at the top right of the screen). I've used a style of teaching that should be easily understood by anyone with a basic (i.e. high school level) knowledge of cells and DNA. My method of presenting the actual scientific data is what I like to refer to as a "cut to the chase" approach. What do I mean by that? Well. if you really want to know. feel free to check the screenshots associated with this app as it's explained within one of the screenshots. Or, better yet, simply download this app to find out. It'll cost you no money, so why not? This app is the lite (free) version that contains all the content and functionality of the first three chapters of the full (paid) "Taste Genetics (Full) " app. The purpose of this lite app is to give users a taste (pun intended. of my teaching style prior to making a decision to purchase (at a very modest price) the separate full version of the app. To see the chapter titles, check out the app screenshots for this lite app's Table of Contents page. Finally, if you want to check out all the content and functionality of the first 3 app chapters, simply go ahead and download this free lite version of the app. Regards, Ken Hawrylak (B. Sc. M. Sc.).
