The game is played on a board with eight rows and eight columns and a set of distinct pieces for each side. Pieces typically are disks with a light and a dark face, each side belonging to one player. In this computer game the human plays with blue pieces and the computer with red pieces. The player's goal is to have a majority of their colored pieces showing at the end of the game, turning over as many of their opponent's pieces as possible. Blue pieces are placed by you as a player and the red ones are placed by the computer. You can use your fingers to place the pieces or the cursor key. In the picture a red square is shown which is the current cursor position. Pressing the middle button of the cursor key will place your piece when the position is valid.
