Fire Location Queensland is an application that uses data sourced from Rural Fire Service Queensland (RFSQ) providing incident information and the location of vegetation fires in the State of Queensland Australia. A geolocation feature allows the user to determine the distance of a vegetation fire in relation to their position. App initially centers the map on your Current Position. Allows the user to zoom out and view the location of all vegetation fires in Queensland. Displays any Vegetation fires currently recorded as active. Fires display as a drop pin on their location. Pressing on the drop pin displays the following: Incident Number, notification and the user can press on info that will display more details of the Vegetation Fire. List: Allows the user to see a list of the bush fires in Queensland showing the Alert level symbol, Incident Number and distance from the users location. If the User presses on the info symbol of each recorded Vegetation Fire and you will see the following:-Incident number and Alert level Symbol (Notification, Advice, Watch & act and Emergency warning)-Location of the Vegetation Fire-Reported time and date of the Vegetation Fire-Current status of the Vegetation Fire-Details of the Alert level -Category (Notification, Advice, Watch & act and Emergency warning)-Author (Queensland Fire and Emergency Services)-Date and time the fire was reported-Address of the vegetation Fire Search function: Type in an address to zoom to that location Info: Details of all the Alert levels Current location: App Zooms into your current location utilising the GPS of the SmartphoneSettings: The user can change the map to Standard, Satellite or HybridInformation is extracted from the Queensland Emergency Services Computer Aided Dispatch (ESCAD) database. It is provided as a general indication of current activity and information is updated every 30 minutes. The locations of the fire represent the general area of the fire, not its current location or spread.Although every care is taken to ensure that all information on this application is accurate and up to date, This application cannot accept any responsibility for mistakes or omissions.During outages members of the public should refer to their ABC Local Radio station for bushfire information and updates.Call Triple Zero (000) to report emergenciesIf you need police, fire or ambulance in an emergency call Triple Zero (000).
