The PDF Information Editor is a Windows application working side-by-side with Adobe Acrobat versions 4 or 5 (running in the background), that will gather data and report information pertaining to a complete directory of PDF documents. It will allow for the �¢??Author�¢?? field value within the PDF document, to be altered - in batch mode - 1,000's of documents at a time! That's right, the PDF Information Editor will allow you to change the �¢??Author�¢?? field value, an entire directory of PDF documents at a time. Why would you need this? Some publishers, law firms, etc...have teams of individuals creating documents, which then get converted at some point to PDF format documents. Many times these documents will have different PDF document attributes - when they should all be the same. The PDF Information Editor solves this problem, and allows for the �¢??Author�¢?? field value to be altered in an automated process, saving a potentially large amount of time, and providing document uniformity and consistency.
