WLObs - Wild Life Observer - is an application that supports wild life observations. Users may save their own observations and vote on observations of others. Voting is a crowdsourcing method utilized to evaluate credibility of given observations. WLObs supports observations of animals belonging to the class of amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds and mammals. The application embraces the idea of crowdsourcing - input of particular users in the form of recorded observations and cast votes builds a larger whole - a wide set of animal observations, available for the whole community. Offered functionality: saving observations for given species, location and date- restricting observations to prevent other users from viewing them- casting votes on the observations on others- deleting one's own observations and votes- synchronizing local changes on the server side- searching observations for given area with possible filtering of species and time range.
