Electricnotes for Mac OS X is a stickies like application. But unlike typical stickies applications, it support conceptually large workspace are to zoom and scroll. You can placing stickies like objects anywhere you like in the workspace. It also supports folder to jump to another workspace, pushpins to bookmark location in the workspace, URL objects to launch your default Web Browser with URL.
Sticky notes Stickies like note object. You can change the color of content from option menu. It support RTFD, and you can paste rich text with images, and you can change font and text color. You may drag a portion of text from other application to the workspace to create a sticky note.
Pushpins Pushpins are bookmarks in someway. All the pushpins of the currentworkspace are listed in 'Pushpin' menu. Electricnotes will scroll and navigate you to the location if you choose one from the menu.
Folders A folder represents another workspace. When you double click on a folder, the current workspace will fade out and another workspace will fade in with animation. If you want to go back to the last previous workspace, choose Back from Workspace menu, or click on up arrow on upper right corner of the window.
URL objects URL object cannot be created from the context menu. You may drag a URL from web browser like Safari, and drop on the workspace to create a URL object. You can double click it to open the URL with your default web browser.
Zoom-out-in It provides zoom-out by click workspace with holding command key. It will give you good overview of the whole workspace. Then you can zoom back in by clicking on workspace.
Drag and drop You can drag chunk of text (includes Rich Text), or URLs from other application. Text will turn into sticky note object, and URL will turn into URL object.
TRY NOW Although Electricnotes provides some limitation for using the software without serial number, it should be good enough to get some idea about this product. Then you can purchase to receive serial number, then you can continue work on the same documents created while evaluation.
