This is the official iPhone app for the 65th Berlin International Film Festival (February 515, 2015). The Berlinale is one of the most important dates on the international film industrys calendar. Almost 20,000 film professionals from 130 countries, including around 4,000 journalists, are accredited to the Berlin International Film Festival every year. With more than 300,000 tickets sold, the Berlinale is not only a film industry meeting. It also enjoys one of the largest film festival audiences in the world. About 400 films are shown every year as part of the Berlinale's public programme, the vast majority of which are world or European premieres.The Berlinale 2015 app includes: - Programme overview with filter options according to day, time, section, venue, country (for both the public festival programme and press screenings)- Film info including synopsis, image, screening dates and locations - Favourites list: Save a list of your favourite films (including detail information; for offline use also) - Calendar export: Add individual screenings to your calendar - Full-text film search (for both the public festival programme and press screenings) - Live video transmission of the photo calls and press conferences, the opening and closing gala as well as the Red Carpet arrivals outside the Berlinale Palast before Competition premieres - Venue information - Up-to-date schedule of press conferences and photo calls
