Dr Dipu Moni

Dipu Moni (Bengali: born 8 December 1965) is a Bangladeshi politician who served as Foreign Minister of Bangladesh from 2009 to 2013. She was appointed the first female Foreign Minister on 6 January 2009 after a landslide victory for the Awami League-led Grand Alliance on 29 December 2008. [2] She is the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Bangladesh National Parliament and the former Foreign Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Dipu Moni re-elected again Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League 20th council. [3] She represents Chandpur-3 (Chandpur-Haimchar) as a Member of the 10th National Parliament of Bangladesh.
