This documentary profiles the groundbreaking career of the comedic musical group They Might Be Giants. The Brooklyn-based musical duo of John Flansburgh and John Linnell have spent the past 20 years crafting their singular alt-pop style: cerebral, dark, and humorous. They Might Be Giants has followed an unconventional path to cult stardom--from John and John's first meeting in a Lincoln, Massachusetts, grade school, through the East Village performance art scene of the early '80s to their 2002 Grammy Award. Included in the mix is footage from videos and performances, interviews with the band members, and footage of various actors, comedians, and writers reciting They Might Be Giants lyrics.
