X-Form frees files created in "Classic" applications from their native creator applications. Once a file is processed by X-Form it will show up with an OS X icon,* an OS X file name extension, and when double-clicked it will open in the generic OS X application for that file type. The following file types are currently supported: TEXT, JPEG, PDF, TIFF, GIFf, and PICT. X-Form has been tested through OS X 10.0.4.
