With Send-to-Sync, you can send an address from your Android device to your Ford or Lincoln vehicle equipped with a Sync Services capable system. You may also share from apps such as Google Maps and Yelp using their built-in share feature. Your SYNC system Bluetooth pairs with your phone and uses the voice signal to download the address using a modem, so you can send the address from your Android device while connected to the Internet and still get the directions in your car at a later time even if your car is parked where you can't get an Internet connection. Ask your dealer about Sync Services if you are unsure about your particular vehicle. You will need a phone number registered with Sync Services to use this app. ATTENTION. To test that SYNC Services is properly set up, try the following: 1) Dial Sync Services directly from your phone using 1-800-304-6099. Listen to the prompt, and if you aren't able to interact with the automated voice system this app will not work. 2) Make sure your SYNC Services registered phone is connected on Bluetooth, then press the voice button and say "Services". After you are connected to SYNC Services, say "Directions, " and a voice menu will guide you from there to enter a destination. If that works, so should this app. Please post to if you are having issues. What do you do with my data? Your phone number is only stored in secure application storage and used to send directions to your SYNC Services account. Your location is never stored, shared, sold, or sent. It is used for convenience features while using Google Maps and localized searching for destinations. Your favorites are stored within secure application storage, and they never leave your device. They are only used for your convenience so you don't need to type frequent destinations. A sent favorite destination is treated like a sent destination from the search bar. Your search queries are sent through Google Places API which is subject to Google's privacy policy:
