She has been drawing nearly non-stop since childhood. Good fortune has allowed her to travel to the world's wild places, to watch the drama of life unfold. She attemptsto capture precious moments in a sketch or photograph and then a painting. "It is my heart's desire to createlittle worlds". Her whimsical nature applies human-likepersonalities to what she witnesses in the natural world. "I want to attract attention to my characters in a hopethat they will be compelling enough to inspire people, especially young people, to protect the real animals inthe world".Additionally Barbra is a wildlife photographer her work has appeared on the Guinness Presentation of Amazing Animals,the History Channel as well as other broadcast TV spots, National Geographic, magazines, encyclopedias, natural history books, calendars and advertisements.
