Overview:

A status window lets users know when data is sent and if it reaches its destination, or if an error has occurred. The application is readily configured when it is started for the first time. However, users may exchange the randomly generated user name with their pseudonym or real name, change the update interval or even specify a different server to send position data to in the settings screen. CoMob uses the iPhone's proximity sensor to switch off the screen when something approaches the sensor. Therefore you can place the phone with CoMob running in your pocket and save some power.
