Overview:
gcTool2 is a program in Windows environment for the calculation of Interaction diagrams and the design of short columns. It is provided with a catalogue of transverse predefined sections. You can obtain the P-M interaction diagrams and Mx-My moment contours, nominal or reduced, allowing you to get a listing with the values of angle and position of neutral axis for each point calculated. The design, calculation of reinforcement ratio, can be made for up to 999 values of Pu-Mux-Muy. The program can work in different systems of units. It has incorporated the Building codes ACI 318-99 and ACI 318-08.
