Overview:

Automatically split the data in an Excel worksheet into multiple new separate Excel workbooks. Split the data for all values or for only the selected values in one field. EZ-Split presents a list of the unique values in the selected split-by field from which to choose. New workbooks are automatically named using the value of the split-by field contained in the workbook. The formatting of the original worksheet is retained in the new individual workbooks. EZ-Split is sold separately and is included free-of-charge with the purchase of either EZ-Format or Xcelerator for Excel. Subtotals are automatically recreated in the split workbooks when splitting an EZ-Format or Xcelerator subtotaled worksheet. In addition to splitting the data in worksheets, EZ-Split splits selected tabs in one workbook to new workbooks, splits name and text fields, spreads the values in a numeric field to multiple new columns for each of the unique values in a second field, and merges the data in multiple identical worksheets into a new combined worksheet.
