Overview:

WebIconCM is a contextual menu item for adding "shortcut icons" or "web page icons" to web location files. A web location file is created in the Finder when you drag URLs from your browser to a folder. A shortcut icon is the icon you see displayed in the location field of your web browser. WebIconCM is very easy to use: Control-click on a selection of web location files in the Finder and select "Add Shortcut Icons" (or "Add Web Page Icon"). After processing is complete the files will have the corresponding shortcut icons (or iconic image of the page pointed to by the web location file) instead of the generic icons The internet location of the shortcut icon is logged to the console.WebIconCM is part of the Limit Point Software Utilities Bundle : http://www.limit-point.com/Utilities.html.
