Overview:

Maintain privacy and keep your system running smoother by deleting your computer activity. Remove Internet history (IE, Opera and Firefox), recent file lists (including Office), empty out temporary folders to regain disk space. Such files may include those created by Internet activity, installation programs or by applications for storing temporary data. After time these files build up, wasting disk space and this can impede disk drive performance, lead to superfluous disk fragmentation, and even cause some applications to function improperly. Deleting these files is usually safe and can recover megabytes of disk space. Some of the symptoms of not deleting unnecessary/temporary files can include: Wasted disk space which can impede drive performance. Superfluous fragmentation of hard disks. Some applications may begin to function improperly (including lock up and fatal errors) Lost Internet and network connections.
