The Kalimba is an African musical instrument, common throughout Subsaharan Africa.The instrument has many names including Mbira, Mbila, Mbira Huru, Mbira Njari, Mbira Nyunga Nyunga, Marimba, Karimba, Kalimba, Likembe, Okeme, as well as marmbula (also called kalimba) in the Caribbean Islands. The instrument was often used to accompany and entertain people on long walking trips because of their portability, perfect for an iPhone.
