Overview:
RealZoom Quartz generates a somewhat realistic zoomed (close-up) image as if you are taking a close look at your LCD, CRT screen, or paper with a magnifying glass. I hope this is a useful image utility for graphic designers, graphic artists, and for anyone to help understand how images are reproduced on LCD, CRT, and paper. Available zoom types: RGB stripes, LCD, Trinitron (Aperture Grille), Shadow Mask, and Black Print (K=0 and 45 degrees). Supported files: .tiff, .pdf, .pict, .gif, .jpg, .png, and .icns. Save zoomed images as PDF vector image files. Drag and drop an image file to the image view. Open Recent image files. AppleScript scripting RealZoom Quartz generates a vector-based PDF image file while RealZoom generates a TIFF bitmap image file. NOTE: RealZoom Quartz generates a very complex PDF file when the original image is relatively large, and it may take some time for Preview or Adobe Reader (Acrobat) to display or print the image. Please make sure to select a portion of (or scale down) your large image and save a smaller image with your image editing application such as Photoshop, then load the small image with RealZoom Quartz.
