Overview:
ArcherPro allows you to easily sort thousands of images into specific folders quickly and efficiently, create slide shows containing still images, audio files, and movies. ArcherPro 4.0.1 - 4.0.3 introduced the following: Fixed a bug that caused database corruption. Always, always remember to backup your ArcherProDB file as well as any critical files you have as often as possible.Minor bug fixes. The SHIFT Key can be locked. To do this select Lock Shift Key from the Edit menu. When you do this, an indicator is illuminated in the lower left hand corner. The only keys that function are the Up Arrow, Down Arrow, Left Arrow, Right Arrow, and the accelerator keys you defined for your destination folders. This will enable you to initiate a move/copy without having to hold down the SHIFT key. To turn this off, select Lock Shift Key from the Edit menu. The indicator is turned off. You will now have to hold the SHIFT key to initiate a move/copy with the accelerator keys. You can now view a list of files contained wihtin your ArcherPro documents. Select Show File List from the Navigate menu. ArcherPro 4.0.0 introduced the following: Unlimited Destination Folders via the Destination Sets pop-up menu that appears at the top of the Destination Folders window.A new preference allows you to tell ArcherPro to delete the displayed image immediately or to move it to the Trash Can.Select All, Select None, non-contiguous selections now supported in the Destination Folders window.Sorting of Destination Folders list now supported.Image Info now displays in a gray bar above the displayed image.Image Info now displays an item count as well as the current item. The Up Arrow and Down Arrow keys can be used for navigation: these in addition to the already supported O, P, [, ], Left Arrow, and Right Arrow keys.A blank document is automatically opened when ArcherPro is launched if no other documents have been set to AutoLoad. ArcherPro 3.1.0 introduced the following: The Background Menu. This menu lets you change the background color for each image individually. As usual, each command has a keyboard equivalent. The new commands on the Background Menu let you:Change the background color using the standard Color Picker window. Adjust the background color up or down in small increments.Reset the background color to the default.Reset the background color for all images to the default.Open the Preferences window where you can set the Default Background Color.A New preference has been added that lets you change the Default Background Color. All images that you have not specifically set a color for will use the Default Background Color. ArcherPro 3.0.0 introduced the following: Pan Image - When viewing images, you now have the option of panning. This is handy when the image is too large for your display. Normally when you drag an image, ArcherPro assumes you are dragging the image to another player or folder. To toggle between Panning and Drag and Drop, simply select Pan Image from the Play menu or hit the "G" key. Tag Image - If you see an image you like, hit the "T" key or select Tag Image from the Play menu. A blue bar appears at the top of the image. To remove the tag, press the T key again. When you use the Export Slide Show command, you will be given the opportunity to export the entire slide show or only the images that you have tagged. Tags are saved with your ArcherPro documents.Clear All Tags - To clear all the tags you have set, select the Clear All Tags command from the Edit menu.Warn On Delete - Normally ArcherPro silently deletes the displayed image from your hard drive when you hit the "D" key. You can change this using the Preferences window. There is a new "Warn On Delete" preference that, when enabled, will display a dialog asking if you really want to delete the image.Rendering Improvements - The last couple of releases have introduced bugs that caused scaling problems for some images. These have been fixed.
