Overview:
dbExpress is database-independent layer that defines a common interface to provide fast access to SQL database servers. For each supported server, dbExpress provides a driver as an independent library. dbExpress driver for InterBase (DbxIda) provides access to IB, Firebird and Yaffil databases. It directly uses InterBase client software for server connection. DbxIda supports InterBase from version 5.x and up, Firebird 2.x, 1.x versions and Yaffil. Version 2.4 has support for Delphi 2009 and C++Builder 2009 and added full Unicode support for RAD Studio 2009.
