Overview:
Proton is a small program which analyses your connection's health. Simply enter an Internet or LAN address and do something else while Proton is recording any fails. You can choose between 3 modes: Log all successful pings; Log all failed pings; and Intelligent mode (detects blocks of failed pings). This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
