Overview:
Protect yourself and others from accidental or intentional exposure to pornographic images on the Internet. PicBlock blocks pornographic images from displaying in any e-mail client or Web browser. Unlike traditional porn blocking tools that limit your choice of image search engine or rely on constantly outdated blacklists, PicBlock blocks porn by detecting flesh tones and suggestive shapes. To supplement objectionable image detection, PicBlock also detects sexually explicit keywords in multiple languages, resulting in a two-pronged approach to filtering out pornographic content. Features include: - Detects objectionable images in Web pages- Supplemental filtering for objectionable words in dozens of languages- Facial recognition helps reduce false positives- Customizable filtering sensitivity levels - Administrator password to limit access to configuration menus, and enterprise installation options. Version 3 enhances PicBlock's filtering capabilities by adding shape detection.
