Overview:

Software for the teaching and learning of algebraic factors, the factorization (factoring) of algebraic expressions, especially trinomials. Students can practice using the cross method with the program, which provides extensive explanations and guidance. It includes formulas for factorizing perfect squares and difference of two squares. Preliminary practices with simple sums to help understanding are provided. Can generate hundreds of sums for drills (up to 200 per session). Two players may compete using one computer. It marks the sums automatically and can print a detailed report after each session. Version 3.0.1 adds minor improvements in the guide system and fixed a bug that sometimes allows the user to switch to a different type of sums halfway through.
