Overview:
These client components provide document collaboration functionality for desktops accessing information in either a Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2001 workspace or a SharePoint Portal Server 2003 backward-compatible document library.These components are required to use document collaboration operations (for example, check in, check out, publish, approve) against a SharePoint Portal Server 2001 workspace or SharePoint Portal Server 2003 backward-compatible document library. If you connect to a backward-compatible document library without previously installing these client components, you will receive an error message instructing you to install them. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
