Overview:
The Network Installation Wizard version 2.1 allows you to modify Setup information files to create a customized network installation of Office 97. If you install Office in batch mode (without user interaction), Setup installs the software using the default values you specify with the Network Installation Wizard. If users install Office in interactive mode, the values you set with the Network Installation Wizard are presented as the default choices during installation. It is highly recommended to download and read the ORK97.CHM (a compiled image of the Office 97 Resource Kit web site that was retired in 2004). The download of this file is available from the Microsoft Download Center. The command line options for setup are available in Appendix B of the ORK97.CHM. See the Related Resources to the right side of this page for the link to the ORK97.EXE download. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
