Overview:
Doc@Hand Document Server is a document and file management system. It delivers a number of benefits to an organization: keep files in hierarchical folder structure; give access to them through the Internet; keep all versions of the file; securely transfer multiple files at the same time; resume downloads and uploads; monitor file transfers in the Download/Upload Queue; organize your list of favorite Doc@Hand Document Servers; exchange with links to the files stored in the system instead of sending them by email; find files by text fragment, creation or modification date, size or comments; manage user access rights; keep track of user actions with files; monitor usage statistics. Documents are stored in the Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Doc@Hand client application is a Windows application. Multilingual user interface supports a few languages. Distinguishing feature of the system is its simplicity and usability. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
