Overview:
Eve is the first real-time network monitor capable of rendering 3D visualizations of network traffic. That's quite a mouth-full. In laymen's terms, Eve examines data flowing on the local area network it is installed on and renders the data in a 3D environment. In much the same way as modern FPS (First Person Shooter) videogames do, the user can move through and around the 3D environment using their mouse and keyboard, to inspect network activity. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
