Overview:
Popup Sweeper is a popup stopper program that distinguish pop-up ads from useful new windows and automatically stop the pop-up ads only. By intelligently filtering of annoying aspects of browsing the net (ads, Pop ups advertising, slow surfing speeds, spying cookies). Prevents multiple popups appear rapidly one after another. Enables blocking unsolicited and in-your-face floating popup ads, blocks banners - disables unwanted ad banners that consume bandwidth, blocks pop-ups before they load, gives you the option to play an audio alert when a popup window is blocked. Additionally, you can disable blocking popups whenever you want. Shows you the number of pop-ups blocked. Can also be started manually or at windows startup or with your browser window startup. It works with modems, LAN, or DSL. It works silently in the background like a skilled assassin.
