Overview:
This product is developed from two latest publications of Beijing Language and Culture University Press (BLCUP ): Meeting in China Practical Chinese: An Elementary Course and Meeting in China Practical Chinese: An Elementary Workbook, which are specially designed for beginners to learn Chinese. A certain amount of everyday spoken Chinese is used to help students master the tones, vowels and consonants of Putonghua (of the Chinese language), the phonetic variations in the language flow, and the basic strokes, components and the correct way to write Chinese characters. It has multimedia teaching functions, such as phonetics and pronunciation drill, demonstration of character writing, character tracing, interactive exercises, cartoons based on the situations in the texts and so on. No Chinese OS or plug-in requirement. Learners can use this product as auxiliary software in class or as a tool for learning Chinese pronunciation or improving pronunciation separately.
