Overview:

This tiny utility registers the the file extensions .jar and .jad (Java midlets) to be saved to the VFS directory /PALM/PROGRAMS/MIDP/. This allows you to HotSync .jar and and .jad files to your handheld. This is useful for people with the IBM Java MIDP environment installed. Midlets must still be installed into the MIDP environment. If the midlet is named foo.jar and your VFS volume is named M512, use your web browser to open the url file:///M512/PALM/PROGRAMS/MIDP/foo.jar There are alternative installation strategies such as creating an email with the .jar file as an attachment, saving the email to your drafts folder, and then opening the attachment.
