Overview:

Calendar Xplorer is a heavy-duty perpetual calendar that offers views across multiple Calendar disciplines. It computes astronomical events (moon phases, blue moons, solstice, equinox, moon rise/set, sun rise/ set) and displays the information according to the selected calendar system. It supports Ancient Roman, Bahai, Chinese, Coptic, Ethiopic, Fasli, French Republican, Gregorian, Hebrew, and Indian Civil, Islamic, Japanese, Julian, Mayan, Persian, Quadimi, Shenshai and Viking calendars. It understands multiple Gregorian reforms and can display them not only in current years but in the reform years as well. It is useful as a general Calendar but it was really designed as a tool for educational use and gives historians and other researchers a set of powerful tools to continue their research. It contains an ISO Week/Day/Time calculator, a world clock, an Atlas of more than 10,000 cities, HTML calendars and a powerful event engine that calculates events across different calendars. Version 1.2 adds an option to use the file name of an event import file (less the extension) as one of the categories for each event the file contains, optional Category Toolbar to calendar Views, and Category Menu to the Calendar Menu.
